Give a remote event a clear program and a workable production plan.

An online event still needs pacing, prepared contributors, reliable media, and someone thinking about the audience’s experience.

During the pandemic, JKS supported Solstice Magazine’s transition to a virtual gala with event strategy, remote production guidance, and original content.

Project

Solstice Magazine virtual gala

Services

Program strategy, remote workflow guidance, and video production

Focused virtual programs start at $5,000.

The problem: moving online changes the production

A room provides atmosphere and natural transitions. A remote event has to build those connections differently.

The organizing team needs a program that works on screen, contributors who understand their roles, and media that arrives ready to use. Those tasks can compete with fundraising, guest communication, and the rest of the event workload.

The strategy: design the program and content together

JKS helped shape the Zoom event structure, guide remote content workflows, and integrate prepared media into the program.

John also produced and edited the “Been Afraid” music video for the event. Content planning and production supported the wider program rather than being treated as disconnected tasks.

What JKS delivered

  • Virtual event strategy.

  • Remote production guidance.

  • Content integration and programming support.

  • Production and editing of original event media.

The outcome

The gala moved into a virtual format with prepared media supporting the program. The content was also licensed for ongoing branding and promotional use.

The documented outcomes concern the event format and reusable content. Fundraising performance has not been verified.

Where this can lead: visibility, growth, and support

Visibility

Reach remote audiences with a coordinated presentation and reusable event material.

Growth

Develop a production framework for recurring virtual or hybrid programming.

Support

Give event leadership help with contributor coordination, media preparation, and technical decisions.

A future program can measure attendance, viewing duration, participant feedback, and the actions tied to its stated purpose.

Start with a defined project

Focused virtual program — starting at $5,000

Includes planning for one program up to 60 minutes, a run of show, one technical rehearsal, one technical operator, one edited segment up to two minutes using supplied material, and a program recording.

The scope supports up to four remote contributors. New on-location filming, simultaneous sessions, advanced broadcast graphics, ticketing management, and additional operators are quoted separately.

Your next step

Share the date, audience, speakers, and purpose of the event. We’ll identify the production work required to bring the program together.
