Puss and Pages™ is a private adult community for readers, writers and cat lovers who want genuine conversation, creative connection and somewhere warmer than another public social-media feed.

Puss and Pages brings together adults who enjoy reading, writing, humor, cats and thoughtful conversation. It is a place to meet people, exchange ideas, discover creative work and participate without having to perform for the entire internet.
The community is created primarily for mature adult women and welcomes approved adult members who genuinely align with its purpose, privacy expectations and community standards.

Join a relaxed online gathering built around books, writing, cats, conversation, games, member sharing and occasional guest authors or creative activities.

Use the private Slack community to talk about what you are reading, share cat pictures, respond to writing prompts, exchange recommendations and continue conversations between gatherings.

Members may share aligned public events, readings, opportunities and invitations with one another while respecting the community’s rules against spam, pressure and unsolicited selling.

Puss and Pages is also building a community publishing space for writers, readers and cat lovers with stories worth sharing.
Members may submit original writing, personal reflections, book recommendations, author news, cat stories and ideas for profiles about themselves, their work or their cats.
Selected submissions may be edited and published on the Puss and Pages website, shared in the newsletter and promoted through approved Puss and Pages or John Kind Studios channels with the creator credited and tagged.
Joining is simple.

STEP 01: Tell us about yourself.
Complete the short membership form and let us know what brings you to the community.

STEP 02: Review the agreements.
Accept the Member Agreement and review the privacy, conduct and recorded-session expectations.

STEP 03: Receive your private invitation.
Approved members receive the welcome information and private Slack invitation by email. The Slack link is never posted publicly.

STEP 04: Participate your way.
Attend the weekly gathering, join daily conversations, share your work, introduce your cat or begin by listening.

Puss and Pages is currently welcoming founding members who want to help shape a warm, creative and genuinely social community from the beginning.
Founding access is currently free. If paid options are introduced later, members will receive advance notice and may decide whether they want to continue.
Membership includes the private Slack community, weekly online gatherings, the monthly calendar, newsletter and eligibility for community publishing and promotional opportunities.
Adults 18 and older only. Completing the form does not automatically guarantee membership or participation in every recorded event.

Do not screenshot, record, copy, quote or repost another member’s personal story or private Slack activity without permission.

Members keep ownership of their writing, ideas, books, photographs and other original work.

Recorded gatherings are identified in advance. A separate media release is required before participating in a recorded session.

Keep the purpose clear.
Puss and Pages is a social and creative community—not therapy, counseling, veterinary care, crisis support or legal advice.

Founding access is currently free. If paid memberships, premium events or other paid options are introduced later, members will receive clear advance notice before being charged.

Puss and Pages hosts one online gathering each week. The specific day, time and gathering details are shared through the monthly calendar and private community announcements.

Members connect inside the private Slack workspace throughout the week. Conversations may include books, writing, cat pictures and stories, games, prompts, recommendations, events and approved opportunities.

No. Members may own a cat, love cats, have cared for cats in the past or simply enjoy cat stories and pictures. No live cat appearance is required.

No. Published authors, developing writers, readers, curious thinkers and supportive community members are all welcome.

Members may share relevant work in the appropriate spaces and according to community guidelines. The workspace is not an open advertising, sales, recruiting or unsolicited-direct-message channel.

Members may submit original work and story ideas for editorial consideration. Selected work may be edited, published and promoted with permission and proper credit. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Some gatherings are recorded and others are not. Recording status is disclosed in advance. Anyone appearing or speaking in a recorded session must accept the current Recorded Session Media Release.

You may remain part of the community and skip a recorded gathering. You can attend a future non-recorded event instead.

No. Approved members receive the invitation privately. Members must not post or forward the invitation publicly.

No. Puss and Pages is a social, literary and creative community. It does not provide therapy, counseling, crisis care, medical advice, veterinary care or emergency services.
